My laptop is set to go to sleep after 15 minutes on battery. I'm having a
problem w. it shutting down instead. The power lights stay on but I get no response when I tap the keyboard. On several occasions I have had to manually power it down and then restart Windows normally. If I chose to never but it to sleep would these solve the problem or possibly damage the laptop? |

If your laptop has Vista on it then I think the default setting is that it will only come out of sleep mode if you push the On button or if you close the laptop it'll come out of sleep mode when open. My friend just got a Vista laptop and those were the default settings on hers. |
