Sound Recorder not working
Dell XPS 420, Vista SP1, Soundblaster Audigy SE. Sound recorder opens
normally but will not record sound. Neither will the Creative Labs software or Adobe Soundbooth CS3. Under Sound/Recording tab I have Microphone, Line-In, Auxiliary and S/PDIF-In. Under Auxiliary I see SB Audigy Sorking and a green/white check (like default). In BIOS I turned OFF the on-board sound (Sigmatel), it was set to Auto Sound plays normally. What can I do to get the Sound Recorder working? Thanks. |

Sound Recorder not working
I got the sound recorder working. Made two fatal errors.
First did not know that sound I wished to record had to input through the microphone jack on the sound card. Then I read and followed the Sony receiver instructions to get sound output. All solved. Terry |
