I am a custom computer builder, and have substantial experience in setting
up networks and associated hardware and software. However, I am having
problems sharing a printer on two vista/sp1 machines. I recently did a
clean reinstall on my personal machine, and the printer is shared from my
roomates computer, which until now I had no problem accessing, I am able to
ping said machine with no problems, but vista is unable to connect to the
machine to view shared files and printers, however said machine is able to
access my machine to view shared files. the printer is shared, and there
have been no changes made in the network, or the software installed on
either machine. If it is of help to anyone that can answer my question.
The error that I get is Error code: 0x80070035 The network path was not
found. Please, if you know of a solution to this problem, let me know.
Once again, it was working fine up untill I did a fresh, clean, reinstall of
vista, which I immediately following install, installed vista SP1. If you
can help me, please contact me at
