Default System_service_exception error on vista

I'm running Vista ultimate SP1 x64 edition with 8 - 2gig sticks of
ram.

My computer was installed with this OS 3 days ago. No problems until
this morning. I was running PCmark Vantage and it crashed on the
gaming portion. (which ran fine the night before) Several crashes
later. I reset the bio to non overclock and default settings. I tryed
playing my game, everquest 2, and after playing for 15min. the BSD hit
for the 10th time. I got the error System_service_exception, and
didn't want to write down the error code. I tested all my ram with
memtest86 and they run fine individually, no errors. If i try to run
all 8gig at the same time and it gets 5% into the first test and
freezes.

I tried using the program "whocrashed" and it said there was no crash
log. It probably was due to the fact that I had page file disabled on
my OS drive because tweakers say not to for SSD's which my OS is
installed on.

Another error that is odd is with cpu-z it says it has a driver error
and i hit yes to display crash log and it doesn't pop anything up. I
ran Registry mechanic. CPU-z now says my Multiplier is 6x when I know
it's 8x, it even says it when i right click my computer and hit
properties, it says there 2.13 ghz. And my FSB is 266..so 266x8=2.12.

I also know my bios is set to 8x266, so cpu-z is being odd.

So, right now i've enabled the page file on my os drive, in hopes of
getting a crash log if it crashes again. I'm going to try and run as
much ram as i can before the memtest doesn't go through. I'd like to
narrow down what these crashes are.. especially since I didn't change
any hardware in between last night and this morning. Please help.. I
know it might be hard with no crash log but if you can i'll love you
forever!

I used the registry mechanic to look through my event logs. Here are
some of the error's it reported multiple times since install:

Error #1:

"Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent
WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND
TargetInstance.LoadPercentage 99" could not be reactivated in
namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot
be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected."

Help on the web link lead me to hehttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-
us/l.../cc727148.aspx

I don't know if this is my problem but if anyone has a sound solution
i'd like to hear it.

Error #2:
"Faulting application EverQuest2.exe, version 1.0.0.1, time stamp
0x49d123c7, faulting module EverQuest2.exe, version 1.0.0.1, time
stamp 0x49d123c7, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x006cb2f6,
process id 0x1380, application start time 0x01c9b73d026097b5."

This is when my game crashed.

Error #3:
"Windows detected your registry file is still in use by other
applications or services. The file will be unloaded now. The
applications or services that hold your registry file may not function
properly afterwards.

Unless there is a limit to the memtest capability, you do have memory
related problems.
It sounds like the motherboard may be part of the issue.
Possibilities are
BIOS settings having to do with memory
Memory compatability with the motherboard.
Motherboard having problems with buss timing due to amount of memory.
