Default Video Capture card??

Hello,
Im looking for a (hopefully cheap) video capture card, but here is the
thing.
1. It needs to be vista64 compatible, and
2. Needs to be able to interface to a hi8 camcorder (aka s-video and
rca audio)
I dont care if its an internal card, or a simple usb cable, as long as
i can capture my soon to be deteriorated hi8 data. Im having trouble
finding anything compatible with vista let alone vista64.

Anyone know of anything they can reccomend?
Thanks

Default Video Capture card??

thanks for the replies. i was actually looking more into usb capture
solutions.

i do already have a tv tuner/capture card (avermedia m780) which has an
s-video input on it. the problem though is that it doesnt recognize that
input. ive tried using nero video capture and it only lists the cable
and antenna coax inputs as possible sources, and there is no option to
select svideo. i downloaded other capture programs online, and its the
same thing.

do u have any suggestions on how to capture video through my existing
tuner card using s video? are there any programs anyone can reccomend?

thanks

Depending on the application you have to tell it that you are using a STB
and not a cable or antenna analog input. The Aver TV application should
provide this option,
