Hello, can someone help me. vista freezes after a few hours. I cant use
anything. only option is the power button. It started a month ago. No recent installations or other changes. I have no Idea what the problem is. neather does windows, I don't get any bad messages from vista it just won't work. thanks. com specs. acer aspire 7720 ZG intel pentium dual core T2330 Nvidia Geforce 8400M GS Turbo cache 3GB DDR2 |

It could be overheating, bad RAM, or some other components. Do some hardware troubleshooting or call Acer tech support if the machine is under warranty. http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/...ardware_Tshoot If you can't do the testing yourself and/or are uncomfortable opening your computer, take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad). If possible, have all your data backed up before you take the machine into a shop. Since there is some question about the hardware's viability, you should back up your data NOW anyway.
