I have a friend who owns a Vista laptop with Home Premium pre-installed. It
has the Vista encryption facility which I thought was only available in Vista Ultimate. I have checked the version and it tells me that it is home premium. Is there some sort of download for the encryption software and how good is this encryption? Thanks. |

File system encryption is different than Bitlocker. Even Windows XP has file
system encryption, but I think only for the Professional version. "Chutney Ferret" wrote in message ... I have a friend who owns a Vista laptop with Home Premium pre-installed.
