Hello Facecon, and welcome to Vista Forums. You might also manually check to make sure that the *Network Connections*, *Network List Service*, *Network Location Awareness*, and *Network Store Interface Service* '*_services_* ' (http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/59...vices.html)are set to *Started* and *Automatic*. Sometimes restarting the computer afterwards will reset the network icon as well and allow it to work properly. Hope this helps, Shawn -- Brink '*MS MVP - Windows Desktop Experience*' (https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...5-AD617AF3D511) *There are no dumb questions, just the people that do not ask them.* '*::Windows 7 Forums::*' (http://www.sevenforums.com/) *and* '*::Vista Forums::*' (http://www.vistax64.com/) *Please post feedback to help others.* |
