Default Which Application Turns Monitor On

Hey Friends

My Power Settings are configured to turn monitor off after x minutes.

After x minutes, monitor turns off properly

but after few seconds it turns on again

Is there a way to find out which applicationn turns it on?

well, try a 'clean boot ' (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796) to
disabled all the programs running on the background, after that you can
enable them 1 by 1 to test and see which one is the one giving you the
problem

Probably a network card or other piece of hardware that is set "To Wake on
Activity". That means your computer wakes up due to other hardware activity.
You'll need to go into Properties of NICs and possibly other devices to stop
that from happening.
