HP Raid 1 ML Series

Hello

I'm completely inexperienced using Raid 1 on HP ML110 G3.
I did follow HP's instructions on BIOS setting IDE to Raid. And then
pressing F8 to configuring Raid 1.
That was 'successful'.
Upon boot these messages paint upon the screen:
HP Embedded SATA RAID controller B2067
Press F8
Loading Configuration
Port #00 149 GB Healthy
Port #01 149 GB Healthy

Array #0 Raid - 1 Raid 1 (Mirror) 148.88 GB Optimal

1 Logical Device(s) found
Bios Found
Windows 2000 Server initiates.

Comment : Because of no usb boot support and no floppy drive I needed
to create an ISO disk using
Nlight to install Windows Server 2000.

I don't know how to use Raid 1. With Admin Tools Under Disk Management
I see only C: 148.88GB NTFS.
I don't see the second drive.

I download HP Storage Manager. This application reveals nothing that
appears familiar.

I do know that Raid 1 Mirror is installed, configured; but, I don't
know how Raid 1 is functioning, working, how to interface with Raid.
I don't know how to detect if I will have a drive failure ; and if
there is a drive failure ; I'm needing advise what to do with Raid.

Is there an application I should download that would allow user
interaction, interfacing?
Should I consider using Norton Ghost to duplicate, and protect the
data?
Thanks for any thoughts on this topic.

If you have a mirror raid, then only a single disk will be shown within Win

Generally the raid configeration is accessed when booting the PC, usually a
msg will be shown to press a specific key to access the raid utility.

With your particular HP raid there maybe a raid utility accessible from
within windows that allows you to test the raid & perform other actions, eg
add a hotswap drive (The HP Storage Manager maybe?) you need to read any
helpfile or visit HP support for any FAQ's on the utility

BTW a mirror raid is not a replacement for any data backup
