Ran sfc /scannow and got the results shown in the attached gif.
Could not open C:\Windows\Logs\CBS]CBS.log access denied right clicked CBS.log and obtained full control under security. still got aaccess denied

The cbs.log file is in use. Copy it to another location, and open it.

To access CBS log :
Right click on Command Prompt, click Run as Admin. then, enter notepad C:\windows\logs\cbs\cbs.log [ note : there is a space between notepad and C ] -- t-4-2 "Anne" wrote in message ...
