On disk clean up there a Downloaded Program Files(the box is checked) Temorary Internet Files (that box is checked) Offline Webpages(not checked) Hivernation File Cleaner ( not checked) Recycle Bin (not checked) Setup Log Files (not checked) Temorary Files (not checked) Thumb nails ( that box is checked) Per user Archived Windows error Report ( not checked) System Archived window error report ( not checked). Now I bought my computer from Best Buy and they set it up for me. So I do not know what boxes should or should not be checked. Can you tell me that? I am what you call a computer dummy. I have always deleted everything that is checked. When I just ran it the only things that weren't checked are Recycle Bin and the Per User Archived Windows error report. Go ahead and delete, if you've never deleted anything using this tool, you may find some increase in space/speed. I'd also recommend running the defrag app after you delete from system clean up. -- bikedoug Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
