If it does fit your problems? Seems HD failure imminent. Suggest you
make sure Backups of data?

First of all thank you very much for the link.... was helpful....yeah lucky
i got all my data and important files on my external harddrive saved...;-)

but didnt had time to do a recovery back up for OS...will do it within the
next days when im off from work!!!

had a look on the link that you provided...
it defintly matches with my problem and there was as well a helpful tip with
a link..

just have a another question...on the link that u gave it says i should run
or download a ' Drive diagnostic utilities compendium '
.... which also gave me a listing of every major drive manufacturer and
their drive diagnostic utilities... ( in my case Fujitsu Siemens)...

Anyhow i decied first to do a extended system diagnostics run on my notebook
(which is provided from my manufacturer ' Fujitsu Siemens' and as well on my
notebook already installed) and just wanted to know isn't that the same
diagnostic ??? or are they different???

coz when i went on the link :
http://www.fel.fujitsu.com/home/drivers.asp?L=en&CID=1

i got confused which one to download coz my OS is windows vista and there
are different one for MS-DOS or windows 2000/ 98..which i think isn't the
right ones to download or am i wrong???..

was wondering if u can give me an another advice on that one....

i am still though a bit confused coz i purchased the notebook just 3days
ago and i am just wondering how it could happen that i have a failure already
with the hard drive !?!
