Default System Event Log

My computer decided to give me the lovely error of "Windows could not
connect to the System Event Notification Service Service.....As an
adiminstrative user, you can review the System Event Log for details
about why the service didn't respond."

I have found some good information in the forums that I am going to try
to resolve this since it happended after loading updates but I can not
see to find the System Event Log. Where do I find this? Personally
like XP better since I use that at work but need to know where Vista has
hiddent the Run option...found the search.

Any help is appreciated.

Try hitting Windows+R on your keyboard. Or you can type Event Viewer in
the search box, or eventvwr.msc I guess.
