Default Problem With Title Overlay on WMM

I'm having a problem with the overlay title on selected clips feature on WMM
bleeding from one pix to another. I have around 300 pix and all are fine but
a couple of cells. I don't want to slow the transition on all pix and I
don't think it's possible to do it on select ones. Is there any other way to
correct this problem?

=================================
Have a look at the Title/Overlay track and see
if the offending overlay has a longer duration
than the clip it goes with.

Place your pointer on the Title Overlay and you
should see a tooltip that displays the duration...
(same for the picture)

Change the duration of the overlay by placing
your pointer on the edge until you see the double
red arrow...then left click/drag to reduce the
duration...you can see it change as you drag it.

And...if you move your pointer on the clip until it
looks like a hand you can left click/drag the overlay
to a different position.

Default Problem With Title Overlay on WMM

I can easily display the picture duration and see that it's 5 seconds but I
cannot find the overlay. The lines that appear on the overlay don't match up
with the pictures ( although they display correctly ) but I don't see the
overlay for the offending pix.????

============================
Did you go to Timeline View?

The Overlay track should be at the bottom.

If you do not see the overlay track...look for
a scrollbar at the right end of the Timeline.

Also...you can increase the duration of a
Picture by dragging the double red arrow.

I see the timeline view. I just can't find the timeline cell I'm looking
for. I think I will try adjusting the time on the pix and see if that works.

It's getting worse. Now the overlay appears of the following pix that I was
trying to delete it from only. It's been removed from the proper pix. I'm so
frustrated. It can't be this difficult.

Does your timeline look anything like the one in this picture?

The overlay should be directly below the clip.

It is but when I click on Edit Title there is nothing because it doesn't
correspond. Anyway, it's not the title, it's an overlay. Once I got the
overlay to come up but I can't remember what I did and I can't do it again.
It was a fluke because it didn't correspond so I just clicked on to each one
and got it to come up by accident. I've gone through them all again but I
can't locate anything.
