I just got a new computer with VISTA 32bit, and attempted to install FSX, but when I launch the game, I get the error message telling me that: "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150004)" Anyone else have this same problem?, and if so, how did you resolve it? -- rschrock |

I found the answer to my problem! By any chance have any of you bought your pc from DELL recently if so this may help if not it still may help.... http://support.dell.com/support/topi...686&doclang=en "It is a Dell article but annoyingly doesn't mention the error code so is not so easy to find. Take care to download the correct version of the code for your Windows version, for me it was ENU (vcredist_x86.exe) which is for English 32 bit." once at this page follow the "solution" instructions and voila! The above answer was submitted on a dell community forum site. Cheers to the original sender Nickhay! -- marmac ------------------------------------------------------------------------ marmac's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/117508.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/windows-v...es/1185818.htm http://forums.techarena.in |
