Default Wasted Memory in Virtual Store

My 500G Hard Drive is almost full. I have 4 users in the home and each has
duplicate memory saved in User/AppData/VirtualStore/Program Files. This
duplication is eating up my memory.

I need help to:
1) stop this duplication
2) safely remove the duplication

Regards

First of all some terminology and location corrections. You are NOT talking
about "memory" you are talking about Hard Disk Storage space, and the
location of that folder is C:\Users\{User
Name}\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files, not where you said it is.

Secondly it would seem to me that those folders are where the User data for
each of the programs there are stored.

I need help to:

Firstly I don't think you can stop this "duplication" except by not having
different users, and secondly, on my machine that folder is taking up TEN MB
ONLY.
I suggest that your HDD is being filled up by something else.
Try deleting all the Restore points (which will also remove the shadow copy
files which can be huge) and see how much disk space that releases.
