Hello everyone, lately I have been having some problems. Anytime I install a game/program I can play it but when I turn my computer of and turn it back on later System Restore comes up. When I cancel the restoration the computer restarts and comes right back to the System Restore Screen. So, when i agree to the restoration it deletes the last couple of installed programs. When I reinstall tem the problem just returns. I dont want to have to turn of the System Restore because its a good thing to have, but Its looking like I have no choice. Some info: I have Vista 64 bit Running on an Acer M7720 Vista is updated to the latest updates the game I installed last (and was deleted through restoratio) was Sims3. ( it was bought legally in a proper shop) Could anyone please tell me how to make newly installed programs stay on the computer without Vista ' restoring ' them? Thanks in advance -- Chrepht |

Vista 64 bit may be detecting that the Sim3 installation is replacing Vista 64 bit critical files {purhaps with 32 bit versions} an is correcting the problem. Don |
