Default Couple of Problems

First of all, I run on Vista Home Premium x32 i think. But recently i
have gotten a virus or something that makes my log in screen unable to
boot, it shows a black screen and just the cursor in the middle.
Secondly couple of months ago I noticed that when i wanted to system
restore, i restarted my computer and Press the key to do that command
(F11) and for some reason it doesn't work and continues as normal. I
can't really tell the spec's because i can't access it.

Activities before Black Screen:
Unistalled Norton Internet-Security
Installed Avast

Thank you for reading this.
