I recently installed something that is slowing down my pc, and when I go
to "system restore" a error message pop's up and say the following:

"System Restore has been turned off by group policy. To turn on System
Restore, contact your domain administrator."

Hi,

I would look for an entry in the registry regarding System Restore he

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Policies

You can probably just delete it or possibly change the value (0/1) to fix
the System Restore problem. However, you may need to find a different
solution for whatever is slowing down the system - probably some form of
malware.
