Default Logging Users Off via Task Manager

Hi,

I have recently started using Vista Home Prem. on my laptop, and have a
question.

I am having issues with logging users off via Task Manager. Occasionally my
kids will forget to log out of their account. When I try to log them off
using Task Manager, I always get the following error:

User Boys (SessionID=2) could not be logged off. Access is denied.

I did this often in XP, but haven't been able to with Vista.

I am still trying to get my brain out of "XP Mode," and any info. or
suggestions would be great!!

Thanks!!

Hello Ccnavin,

It sounds like you may just need to click on *Show processes from all
users *first to elevate Task Manager to gain permission.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
