Default Vista Start Menu Options

In Vista, StartAll Programs - I get no "sort by name" option. Also I have
not seen an option yet for "highlight recently installed programs" as was
available in XP. Other than that I think Vista is superb from what I have
explored so far...

Right-click on the Taskbar and select Properties. On the Start Menu tab,
select Customize. You may alter the default settings there.

Switch over to the Classic Menu mode and all will be much simpler g

You can always do this while noone is looking and switch back again --
I hope it would stick ..... ?

You can right click the taskbar, go to Properties. Then go to "Start Menu"
and "Customize". You can select "Sort all Programs menu by name", and
"Highlight newly installed programs" from there. Good luck!
