Any suggestions? I have uninstalled and then reinstalled my laser printer,
but even after installing the driver, I got this error message.

I see this error occasionally in my Vista machine too. I completely
ignore it as my printer keeps chugging along with no slowup in output.
My error goes on to say that other users connected to it won't be able
to use the printer but that has never happened either.

Have you had to restart the driver or service at all? I have checked to
make sure the service is set to restart after failure. Yours probably
is set to that also.

Yeah that must be the default setting--I have never gone in there before,
and I saw that the service itself was set to restart after failure.

For what it's worth, I followed the advice in the first post in this forum
(
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...6-542e1519ca3e )
and for a short time at least, I seem to have stopped getting the error
messages. I'll report back if they come back at all.
