Default Screen flipped icons to right margin, Vista Home Premium


Suggestions on correcting location of icons and having complete screen.

A little more information would be extremely useful.
How to ask a question http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375

If the picture on you monitor is only a strip down the right side of it,
it's the monitor, video card, driver, or wrong resolution. Post back with
more info for more help.

Default Screen flipped icons to right margin, Vista Home Premium


Will try to explain another way...laptop is working fine except the
icons have moved to the right side of screen and they are vertical and
about 1.5 inches of screen is blank vertically except for McAfee logo,
battery charged logo, internet connect logo, speaker logo, webcam mgr
logo, dell touchpad.....all these were at bottom of screen previously.

Have not been able to move these to original position or get full width
of screen.

This has happened before on another computer with Windows XP.

Right-click on that area and make sure "Lock the Taskbar" is not checked.
Left-click on it and drag it to bottom of your screen. It should move and
stay there.
