Default Windows cannot find Error/Error

I keep getting this error message that says "Windows cannot find
ERROR/ERROR. Please type the name in again" Whenever I start up
Windows. My comp then freezes shortly afterword and I'm forced to
reboot. I'm using Vista 64 bit, please can anyone help me? I've tried
downloading registry cleaning software, but the one I have right now
(Error Nuker) is unable to fix all of the errors.

Error nuker might be the problem

Start - type in MSCONFIG in search box...... see what programs
are in Startup. Uncheck what you are suspicious of.

Tried that but it still crashes. Also it can't be Error Nuker since I
got it after the problem started.

Boot into Safe Mode - create a new user and make it the
default. Does the problem go away? If so you have a
program, service or unknown that is causing the error.
OR your default user is corrupt.

Make the new user an ADMIN just in case and use NO
PASSWORD or a very easy one. You can delete this USER
later.

The below is for worst case issue in case you get locked out.

Turning on the Administrator account is straightforward.

First, open an elevated command prompt by typing

cmd into the Search box on the Start menu, right-clicking

the command prompt icon that appears at the top of the

Start menu, then selecting Run as administrator .

Then enter this command and press Enter:

Net user administrator /active:yes

From now on, the Administrator account will appear as an

option on the Welcome screen, along with any user accounts

you may have set up. Use it like any other account. Be aware

that it won't have a password yet, so it's a good idea to set a

password for it.

If you want to disable the account and hide it, enter this

command at an elevated command prompt and press Enter:

Net user administrator /active:no

AutoLogon - Start - Search - netplwiz

Highlight User Name - Uncheck Users must enter a User Name and Password

Provide Password when prompted or hit enter if no password

Error Nuker could easily be the source of one of more new
problems them started after you got it. Registry cleaning
programs must be used with care to prevent them from
causing more errors than they cure.

Here is a link to something I use,
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb963902.aspx
It lets me see what is running and kill it, I had some odd entries in my
"boot execute" tab causing boot delays
I unchecked them and the problem went away...you might give it a try.
