Default Promise TX4650 on Vista x64 .. Anyone?

Hey Guys and Girls

im trying to install Vista x64 on an array using a Promise TX4650.. but
the drivers from their website dont seem to work, the 2K8 driver doesn't
work, im starting to think they dont have a x64 driver out, can anyone
confirm or does anyone know how where the driver for this controller is
with vista x64?

thanks in advance.

Their web site should state whether or not the driver supports Vista 64

http://www.promise.com/product/produ...product_id=191

Get the new BIOS update is it is not already installed, get the
http://www.promise.com/upload/Suppor...0V1.2.0.59.zip
file. It should install on Vista 64. This is its txtsetup.oem file which
is included in the package.

If windows is already set up on a drive not on the controller, install
through "device manager".

Also, the driver files can be copied to a floppy or usb stick and used for
installation during Windows setup.

Good luck.
