multiple file selection bug?
hi,
i'm using vista ultimate. and i noticed this behaviour from day first. in some folders i'm able to select multiple files, and in some i can't. i searched and found other ppl having same problem. someone suggested to Reset Folder button under folder option will fix the prob. but it actually doesn't. i'm used to view files in List mode. i also noticed that in WinXP, I was used to setup as. i select my file View mode as List and under folder options, i selected all the options i wanted and Apply. then press pressing Apply to All Folder makes all the folders on any drive look same as my selected View (List) and all the settings remain same in all the folders. but in Vista, in some folders the view automatically changes to Detail, sometimes thumbnail etc. soo anoying, and confusing for me. can anyone help me finding one perminant solution for Apply to All? and also for multile file selection. i'm currently considering this selection problem as bug. tia, // chall3ng3r // |
