Being a former grunt, I have a limited understanding of this wireless modem set up stuff. I own a Belkin N1 router and was setting up a secure wireless connection so that my wire could use her laptop. (Both systems are HP) as I attempted to follow the manual for the router (not written for a guy that spent 26 years wearing camoflague and boots) I seem to have somehow gotten a gateway between my router and my wifes laptop. While this might or might not be a problem it or something seems to have caused the router to drop its signal. During the process while setting the security settings I was prompted to change the ISP form the router to the. When I did this everything locked up. Now when I attempt to change back to the original ISP everything just hangs in limbo. Has anyone got any suggestions as to how I can straighten out this mess, short of calling Geek Squad.
