My internet connection just stopped working after my battery died and i re-booted my laptop. It is a compaq presario running windows vista basic. I am plugged directly into the wall but I cannot get a connection. It says i am connected to my network but with local access only. Unplug your router, and modem from POWER...... wait about 2 minutes and hook

Like I said... I am using a ethernet cable. Can someone please help with this issue. It is still not resolved. Unplugging my router did absolutely nothing. I have 3 computers all running of the hardwire in the wall . my laptop does not get internet and the other 2 do.
