I have a Dell inspiron with Vista ultimate 64 bit. My browser stops working after every half an hour our so. I would not be able to connect to any website (However i see "Waiting for ...... " message in the browser status bar and recieve a 404 timeout after a while. I tried chrome, firefox, IE 8.0 and see this problem. I recently did a lot of changes to my system and not sure what caused this problem and i do not want to do a system restore .. However i am able to connect to the internet through google talk (but not through yahoo messenger). Is there any port issue ??? - I tried disabling the firewall (zone alarm) but was of no use. - I also tried power cycling my router but did not help - I was able to connect only after restarting my system. Please help if anybody has any suggestion to this ? -- manja46 |
