I loaded my HP3380 All in One on my Vista 32bit workstation connected via HP Jetdirect and when I go to scan I receive a There is no TWAIN compliant device installed. Please install one and try again. Does anyone know where I can download a TWAIN compliant device/driver? -- tepersp |

HP has this printer classed as "legacy support" only.
If the drivers included in Vista don't do what you want, you are likely out of luck. HP's web site indicates that "you should consider buying a new printer" As far as twain drivers, if HP doesn't have them, it's very unlikely that anyone else will either. After all the problems we had several years ago (2004-5 by co-incidence) with the Jet Direct subsystem and lack of support and updates, it's doubtful that I'll consider any HP printer that depends upon Jet Direct.
