Default Default RFS-VGA cable help

Bought the above cable today especially for the UFC. Sorted the
resolution out to mirror my laptop but the screen colour is a funny
shade of pink!!

Anyone know of a way to sort this out?

Tried help and had some advice of someone with more technical nous than
me to no avail.

thanks in advance

What make/model laptop?
Can you provide a link to the RFS-CABLE you bought I can not find one using
my search engine.
What is the UFC?
What make model display/TV are you trying to clone your PC screen to?

I did not realize that you were in the UK and are using a 1366x768 TV with a
Scart interface. Regretfully, since I do not know much about Scart which I
believe supports multiple interface protocols I don't think I can provide
any additional support for your problem.
Apparently the cable you are using came with the laptop so you could connect
it's PC VGA output to the Scart interface connector on your TV

Your screen sounds as though it has a magenta cast. This is probably
because one of the connections or wires in the new cable is faulty.
