AFAIK the only way to do it is to manually rename the shortcut

An alternate fix is to download a program from - Frameworkx.com

This procedure works for XP or Vista:
Open RegEdit Locate the registry key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer] Add a new "Binary Value" key in the right-hand pane.
