Hi all, I stumbled upon you guys, and knowing I'm not the brightest as
far as computers go, I thought why not XD.

Lately, my vista [home premium] has been acting odd. We have 4 profiles
on this computer, excluding guest. Now, we've had it for a few months
so..my profile and everyone elses has been setup already. But sometimes,
even when you're already logged in, it says "Preparing your desktop"
Which caught me by surprise because my profile has already been setup.
When it comes on, all my folders, shortcuts to programs, etc, are gone.
Then I restart and everything is back to normal. It's happened to my mom
and sister too, but my other sister who doesn't live here hasn't, so I'm
guessing that's only because she's not on alot.
