Default Boot & Shutdown Performance Monitoring

My machine, Dell Inspiron 530, 4GB RAM, hundreds of megs of free drive space,
is getting a lot f Diagnostics-Performance errors regarding boot, shut down
and standby monitoring. I'll list portions of the first first few issues in
the log. First is an ERROR

lenght of this note I cut it off here and I will do likewise. Next is a

I like to try to figure these problems out on my own but this is stuff over
