Default Bluetooth Not Working

I have a Vista 64 SP1 Dell Studio XPS system. Brand new. Tried to hook
up my brand new Blackberry 8900 via Bluetooth, but two drivers "were not
found." Wouldn't work. Have to use the USB connection. I then tried to
hook up my brand new Rocketfish Bluetooth stereo headphones. Successful!
My new hardware was installed and ready to use! Exceot . . . it isn't
and won't. They work with Skype, but not for music. Even though the
"sound" control panel shows the headphones online ans working for both
voice and music (whatever) music WILL NOT PLAY through the headphones.
They're on, connected, and silent. Music will only play through the
speakers, even when I make the headphones the default.

Any ideas? Appreciate any help you can provide.

Robert

Read the manuals.
There is no consistency in procedures to link Bluetooth devices.
If they link they should work more or less properly, although not
necessarily particularly with older bluetooth devices.
You are probably overlooking something.
