Unable to remove user folder

Default Unable to remove user folder


I am the only user on this laptop - there is the Administror logon and
my user account (ARH). I also have a third user folder on here - from a
user profile that became corrupted which is called Andy. The user
account has been removed but the folder has not so is not associated
with a user logon.

I have given the administrator logon full permissions on Andy. When I
check, the Admin has full control, yet cannot remove the folder. When I
try to remove the read-only option, I get the UAC box but am then denied
permission.

I cannot see anything inside any of the subfolders or make any changes
to the contents.

I am starting to run out of space and need to remove it - please
advise.

Default Unable to remove user folder

You need to take ownership of the folder. As you already have Administrator
rights, there should be no problem in taking ownership. See here for the

Boot up with BartPE and Delete those files.
