Unable to remove user folder
I am the only user on this laptop - there is the Administror logon and my user account (ARH). I also have a third user folder on here - from a user profile that became corrupted which is called Andy. The user account has been removed but the folder has not so is not associated with a user logon. I have given the administrator logon full permissions on Andy. When I check, the Admin has full control, yet cannot remove the folder. When I try to remove the read-only option, I get the UAC box but am then denied permission. I cannot see anything inside any of the subfolders or make any changes to the contents. I am starting to run out of space and need to remove it - please advise. -- ahmedia |

You need to take ownership of the folder. As you already have Administrator
rights, there should be no problem in taking ownership. See here for the process: http://www.tipandtrick.net/2008/how-...ders-in-vista/ -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "ahmedia" wrote in message ...
