Hi.
In another thread there was a discussion about spyware. I followed some of the advice given and now all of a sudden, the cursor movement is sluggish. Also, when I boot up, my password is sometimes rejected two or three times even though I am being careful in typing. Sometimes I have to click on a link three or four times before it works. My machine is a Packard Bell desktop with 32-bit OS Vista plus SP1. Any suggestoins? John |

Tell us exactly what advice you followed, exactly what you did, and exactly why you did it. Without that info, nobody can help you. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP - Windows Desktop Experience Please Reply to the Newsgroup |

I downloaded two antispyware programs, Antimalware and Superantispuyware. They didn't find anything wrong. That's all I did, I think. |

I might have done sopmething and forgotten. |

Downloading, installing, and running either or both of these is not responsible for your problems. I hate to be a pest but I still have this problem of a sluggish and unreliable cursor. I've done some browsing but without success (probably because I'm not using the best search search words). What sort of thing MIGHT be causing this? If I had a clue, I might be ale to remember what I could have done. Please help. If you can't, can you at least suggest where else I might ask? John Harris |
