I'm wondering how much of the disk the 5536 build takes when installed.
I'm running Beta 2 and my Windows directory eats up 7.5GB, which is half the partition on which I've installed it. After installing Visual Studio and Office 2007 (Beta 2) there's not much left for other applications but I have not bothered with expanding the partition yet. I was however hoping that the new build might be a bit smaller. -- Erik Wikström |

I think the beta software is in debugging mode and will eat up quite alot of
space until the final release. The pre-RC1 seemed smaller during the install, but I just checked and I've used up a little over 14GB with Vista, and Office 2003, and the Trend Micro antivirus installed. My guess is that stuff must expand as you use programs? Not sure but just a guess. "Erik Wikström" wrote in message ... I'm wondering how much of the disk the 5536 build takes when installed.
