Default permissions


how do i give myself full control over my entire computer i dont care
one bit if i mess it up so badly that i cant even get the welcome screen

Hello Eaterjolly,

You can enable the '*_built-in_administrator_*'
(http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/67...r-account.html)
account and log on to it for full control. There will still be protected
operating system files that Vista will not let you access or change for
safety and security though.

thats what im talkin about i want to access those especially a while
back my computer got confused and iTunes temporarily became one

Buy a mac....... ha ha ha .
Seriously, there is a way. It's called enabling the Built-in Administrator
which will by-pass all prompts for permissions.
No offense is intended, I have to decline to tell you how, out of personal
conviction.
I am certain someone won't mind showing you how.
If no response, start a new thread, ask " How to enable Built-in
Administrator ". You'll get answers.

I am not sure I understand you correctly.
I'd suggest STRONGLY that you put a password on your Built-in Administrator
account.
