I've got one PC running XP SP3 and a laptop running Vista. I've setup the
network so both are on the same workgroup and I've mapped the PC's drives so I can access them from the laptop. I can see all the drives and I can open PC files on the laptop. The problem is, if I open an excel spreadsheet which resides on the PC from the laptop I then can't save the file again. I get an error saying "xxx file is currently in use. Try again later". I can save it as another file no problem, but if I try to save it normally I get the same error. Any thoughts? |
