Hi! I have a lap-top with Vista Home Premium. Recently for no apparent reason, certain aspects of certain programs are auto scrolling and it's not the actual auto scroll button being on. For instance, any drop-down box that is opened automatically scrolls to the bottom and if i try to choose something in a higher position on the menu it automatically scrolls down to the bottom from what I've chosen. Also, when i go into Control Panel, Uninstall program and select a program, it them immediately scrolls to the bottom of the page... I can't change any setting with a drop-down box, i can't adjust the computer's volume (as soon as i click on the volume bar, it scrolls immediately to the bottom), and i can't uninstall a program that may be on the top half of the menu due to this. I've also noticed is that it won't go to screen saver or auto-sleep mode anymore either and i can't grab the scroll bar with my mouse pointer, but Can use my scroll button to scroll. I have Panda Security and ran a full computer scan which turned up nothing and i checked my mouse... This is all i've noticed so far, but i would sure appreciate some ideas about what may be wrong ![]() Help! -- inana235 |
