I don't know what you mean by "impossible to manage net with wireless".
Please explain the issues. Also describe your network, including things like
cable/DSL modem, router information.

well, "wireless" is LAN. But if you want a wired connection rather
than wireless you have several options. If it's only the two computers
you want to connect you can plug a crossover ethernet cable into each
computers ethernet connector, and communicate that way. Or you could
get a router (most are wireless, but have several connections for
wired ethernet) and plug each computer into it. If you get one with
removable antenna, you can seriously limit the wireless range by
removing the antenna.

Hi
If you have a Wireless Router and both computers are connected to it you
have already a LAN.
You can mange the Wireless part of the Router from the wired computer by
logging to the Router's menus (read the Router's manual).
Otherwise describe what system you have in term of Internet connection, and
its hardware.
To communicate between LAN computer.
Make sure that the Software Firewall on each computer allows free local
traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall On, Vista/XP Native Firewall should
be Off, and the active Firewall has to adjusted to your Network IP numbers
on what is some time called the Trusted Zone (consult your 3rd Party
Firewall instructions.
