I am trying to connect to a folder on one machine using Vista from another
machine using Vista. The folder is a User Folder (C:\Users\UserName). I have set this folder to share. I have the following On: - Network Discovery - File Sharing - Public Folder Sharing - Printer Sharing - Media Sharing Password protected sharing is off I also have OncCare and have set the firewall to allow file sharing. I can access the printer on the computer, an external harddrive, Public folder but cannot access the specific User folder I need. What am I missing? |

I figured it out. I forgot to add "Everyone" to the share when first sharing
the folder. Now that I have the folder shared, I added my Music, Picture and Video folder to Media Player of the remote computer and Media Player does not pick up anything.
