Currently I have a windows 2003 domain setup. I am going to migrate my users
to vista. I was needing to know how do make it so that any user can add their own printer without them having admin rights? Currently with our Windows XP setup all my users can do this but in vista it always ask for higher elevation or an admin to install the printer. Is this something I need to do on the local security policy that will allow all users to install printers? |

There is a policy on Vista with regard to Point and Print. You can disable
the prompt for user elevation during a connection. -- Alan Morris Windows Printing Team Search the Microsoft Knowledge Base he http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;[ln];kbhowto This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
