Default Problem with opening mailed pictures.

Like many people, I am regularly sent pictures as attachments in my mail.
Normally there is no problem opening them but a batch have arrived and when I
click on them to open the following message appears.

"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel."
the suffixes on the files are .mpg and .wmv.

I would appreciate some advice on the matter.

Thank you.
