Vista Locked user pop up......HELP!!!
I understand it's not going to sleep, but have you confirmed you disabled the power settings? Check the bios as well? 1. Click Start, type gpedit.msc and press Enter. 2. Locate Local Computer Policy - User Configuration - Administrative Templates - System - Power Management. 3. Set the state of “Prompt for password on resume from hibernate / suspend” as “Not Configured”. 4. Open Control Panel - Power Options - Require a password on wakeup. Choose Don’t require a password and click Save Changes. Are you the only user? If not, a group policy could force this. -- lemur ::If *ANYONE* in this forum helps you, please click on their *REP* icon. Thanks! (the middle scale icon in the upper right corner):: |

Vista Locked user pop up......HELP!!!
I think the best way for you is to reset your windows password. The Windows password Reset can solve all your problem within a few minutes. Importantly,No need to call a technician, no need to re-install anything, and you certainly don't need to reformat. -- tannpopo w-e-l-c-o-m-e- -t-o- -M-Y- -B-L-O-G---'reset windows password' (http://www.programmersheaven.com/user/linky1124/blog/) Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
