Default Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000 Wheel Problem

I just purchased a Wireless Mobile Laser Mouse 6000 thinking it would be
compatabile with Vista 64. Wrong.

After the computer sleeps or hibernates the scroll wheel slows down to
a very slow crawl.

I have to disconnect the nano receiver wait about 2 minutes and then
reconnect.

Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do?

Have you tried downloading and installing the latest drivers from Microsoft?

You are sure that it is the Laser mouse and not the other 6000. Be sure you
download the correct files. Don't rely on the disk they give you with it.

Regards,

I'm having the same problem with Vista 32. If I let the computer sleep and
then start it up again, the scrolling feature on the mouse is almost
non-responsive. I've looked for updates and such, the only fix I can figure
out is what was mentioned above. Any advice/suggestions would be helpful.
