Screen dim and flickering
Hi, When I let the computer sit for awhile or I turn it off for the night, when it comes back on, the screen stays dim for a bit, then starts to slowly flicker and then it flashes quickly and then becomes bright and normal. It stays bright and normal until the next time it puts itself to sleep or I shut it down for any real length of time. Sometimes it stays dim and/or flickers for a longer time period than others. Using the computer seems to make it go faster, but when the flashing starts going hard and fast, it hurts my eyes to look at it. Thank you in advance for your time and any advice you might have for me. Melissa -- Daydream |

Sounds like the monitor may be starting to go, as once it's warmed up all
appears fine. -- Graham Hughes MVP Digital Media "Daydream" wrote in message ... Screen dim and flickering
I'm afraid that's it too. It took all morning for it to get back to normal. Thank you for trying to help. I was hoping that it was all somehow connected to all the other issues, but it must be a coincidence. Melissa -- Daydream |
